Pictoplasma is in Madrid right now. They're having an exhibition of Contemporary Character Design and Art at La Casa Encendida. The exhibition runs from May 23 to September 8. See more pictures from the show here.

Art by Friends Skateboard Show - Annecy, France

While I was having holidays with Rylsee in Switzerland, we had a day-trip in the beautiful little town Annecy (France) to attend the opening of a group show we're part of. The show is called Art by Friends and it's held in the cells of a former prison, Palais de l'isle. For those who wish to attend, it will be up until the 23rd of June.

It's been a crazy month of working on my show, followed by an amazing week of Pictoplasma goodness. It was such a pleasure meeting and hanging out with other participants such as Felt Mistress, Ted Parker, Will Sweeney, Jon Burgerman, LowBros, Billy&Alex etc etc.  Here are some of the pictures from the week of Pictoplasma Berlin 2013. made its first appearence at the Pictoplasma closing party at the Urban Spree.
Participants are free to hang the facial features (painted by Eirian Chapman, Billy&Alex,
Rylsee, Johannes Mundinger,  Blo and myself) on the giant faces.

Fakelore - New Works by Andrea Wan at Pictoplasma 2013 Berlin

During Pictoplasma Festival Berlin 2013, I will be exhibiting my new works at the back room of Sur la Montagne Gallery as part of the Pictoplasma Character Walk. The front room of the gallery will be filled with fluffly creatures by Felt Mistress, aka Louise Evans.

Canadian artist Andrea Wan leads us deeper into her world of oneiric creatures. In a new series of ink paintings an adventure story unfolds straight out of her subconscious. Characters with no clear mission come up against surreal obstacle courses as they move through dreamscape after dreamscape.
Opening: Wednesday 10 April, 12:00 h
Show: 10 April - 14 April

I will also be giving a talk at the Pictoplasma Conference at The Babylon Theatre On April 11th at 15:30 h, followed by an art session at the Platoon Kunsthalle.

New Print - Friends & Enemies

Pow Wow Hawaii Recap

Last month I was one of the lucky artists to be invited to PowWow Hawaii 2013 - a festival held on the beautiful island of Oahu. The trip involves a week of mural painting, having lots of delicious food, chilling at the beach and hanging out with a bunch of amazing and inspiring people.  A big thank you to Jasper Wong, Kamea Hader and everyone else involved for making Pow Wow such an amazing experience!

Group Show at galerie Open Space

Last month I was part of a group show, Famille Recomposée, held by Jekyll & Hyde agency at Open Space gallery in Paris.
