It's been a while since I last updated my blog, because shit always gets in the way and I had no time for my own projects. But - I got some new ideas which I will get started on pretty soon.
Meanwhile, above is a banner I did for Christine Jewellers, and its probably the second (if not first) paid commercial work I've done. While the company is hoping to reach younger costumers, they wanted something cartoony to go with their elegant theme (which can be tricky). I was free to come up with any idea so I chose a 20s (a prosperus era) theme for the NEWS & EVENTS banner, inspired by those vintage fashion catalogues with mink coats other commodities.

So nice. Is it done with tablet? if so you are a wizard, I gave up on tablet cause I can't do straight lines.
